She is a mysterious woman with an immortal regenerating body and unknown, powerful (yet rarely used) psychic abilities. She is so mysterious that her real name is unknown, hence she is called CC (pronounced C2). At the beginning of the series, she is awoken from a containment sphere, and in order to save male lead Lelouch Lamperouge, she sacrifices herself and gave him the power of Geass – in his case, the ability to give an absolute order. CC is known to have made a contract with at least one other person – a mind reader.
CC is immune to the powers that she grants these people, and projects a cool and calm demeanor. However, her past as a 'witch' has given her several moments of surprising vulnerability; and the immortal nature of her existence means that she must face the full consequences of giving these supernatural abilities to her contractees.
CC is one of the most mysterious characters going into Season 2 – we have been given only hints of her true nature. However, one thing that is not mysterious is her almost pathological love for pizza. The amount of pizza ordered by her could likely have funded the rebellion several times over, and the merchandise she receives from frequent orders seems to be piling up in her room.
Past Saimoé History
The one thing scary about C.C. as a Saimoé candidate - she buys pizza hut so much that she's even sponsored by Pizza Hut to compete in these competitions.
And rightfully so did Pizza Hut net out a profit - C.C. burst on the scene in her debut Saimoé Japan 2007. After literally splashing tomato sauce over her competition in the first round, C.C. impressed many by taking out last year's semi-finalist Chikaru Minamoto (Strawberry Panic) 775-660 in a three-way match. However, she was paired with Konoka Konoe (Negima), whom survived her second rounder by only six votes, in the round of 32. In a close match, C.C. barely lost to Konoka by only 18 votes. She closed out Saimoé Japan in 25th place.
In 2007 Korea Best Moé, C.C. fared exceptionally better. She routed all three of her preliminary rounds, including Vita (Nanoha) in the first round, and received easy entry to the knockout rounds. After dominating the round of 64 by over 600, C.C. managed to edge two Negima candidates in a row, first avoiding disaster with Setsuna Sakurazaki by 59 in the round of 32, then a 200+ victory over Yue Ayase. However, in the round of 8, it is fair to say that C.C. was upset by Tamaki Kousaka (ToHeart2)... by only four votes. C.C. finished in 7th place, and then was awarded entry to Korea Super Best Moé, where she ended up losing to Teletha Testarossa (Full Metal Panic) by 31 votes, therefore finishing 12th.
C.C. comes into this league with an added bonus - Code Geass R2 is airing within the duration of the International Saimoé League. Once again sponsored by Pizza Hut, C.C. returns with a great chance of winning the International Saimoé Tiara, but she will have to face a greater amount of competition that she hasn't been used to, including the cast of Lucky Star, Rozen Maiden, and Nanoha. Still, if all goes well, there won't be anything that stops her from winning the International tiara.
